Anatomy of a Wardrive -- Fall 2013 IASG talk
This is a presentation I gave for Iowa State University's Information Assurance Student Group on October 15th, 2013. I introduce the topic of wardriving (en masse discovery and mapping of 802.11 wireless networks), and proceed into analysis of a large dataset I collected between August and October of 2013: 27,832 wifi networks collected from the public roads of Ames, Iowa.
The data for this project, along with most of the code I wrote for it, are available from this Github repository: https://github.com/kbuchik/wardriving
